Summit Academy Charter School
Summit Academy was created to offer a tuition-free, public middle school alternative to students in CSD 15, specifically targeting the neighborhoods of Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Park Slope, Sunset Park and Windsor Terrace. Summit Academy offers a highly rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum supported by a structured school culture. Summit Academy maintains high expectations and a no excuses approach to ensure that all students are equipped to enter, succeed in and graduate from the most competitive colleges and universities.
 

OUR MISSION

Summit Academy Charter School bridges the gap between aspirations and realities by preparing 6th through 12th grade students to gain acceptance to, excel in and graduate from college by using three pillars of success: mastery of core subjects, character building, and community leadership. By engaging students with an academically rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum and supporting them in a community focused on high academic achievement and strong character building, Summit Academy will prepare our young people to participate meaningfully in the greater economy and expand their choices and opportunities.

Support Summit Academy

To ensure Summit Academy’s success, the support of the overall community is needed.  We invite you to support our academic efforts throughout the year by coming out to our events and school activities. 

Support is also needed in the form of tax-deductible financial contributions.  All proceeds are used to enhance our academic resources helping ensure Summit Scholars are well-equipped for the future.
